Have a photo taken by me published. Check.

I am super duper happy today!
I get to cross off one important item from my 25 before 25 list. YAY!

One of the photos that I took, is published in the online showcase called "Platonic Love Stories" at PictoryMag. Its this wonderful site where you can send in your pictures with a story, as relevant to the current showcase. Do check it out :)

My picture is #25, called Sameera. She is this awesome kid I teach at TFI (Teach For India), where I am a volunteer. I wish I could do it full time, but I cant. Someday I hope I can spend all my time, just teaching children like Sameera :) I took loads of pictures in the classroom, and I haven't uploaded any on the photoblog. Planning on uploading them someplace soon. Here's the picture I had sent Pictory -

She looks so angelic doesn't she? :)

So there I go -
Have a photo taken by me published. Check. :)
Hoping to have many more in the future :) :)

Cheers,
Annie.
P.S: That pursed lips look on her face is because she didnt want to smile and show a huge gap in her front teeth :P She had just lost them! :)

Superb Pic...
On a side-note, can you teach at TFI part-time, while still having a job?

@ All,
Thanks! :)

@ etymofreak,
Hi there!
Yes you can volunteer at TFI as per your time-day availability! The only catch is that the schools where they teach are currently only in Pune, Mumbai and Delhi. So if you stay in any of those places, please do try! They always need more volunteers to help them with teaching the kids who need some one-on-one attention, and the kids are really good!

Cheers,
Annie.
